Great radio and cd player
This is the third Bose wave radio I have! One for each bedroom. I still have the original one from 1995, a gift. It functions perfectly. The next two I bought for myself on eBay. The only small issue with the two newer Bose wave lV radios is that the time of day readout on their screens are not bright enough to be functional in the day time. At night they are okay in that regard. I did not take any stars away for that, as everything else I bought them for is great, particularly the stellar sound. The CD players are worthwhile additions to the two radios I bought. Both work flawlessly. Very happy with Bose wave radios.

The best waffle maker out there
Just used this morning, for the first time, my “new” Villaware waffle maker . Over my lifetime (more than three quarters of a century) I have used many different brands of waffle makers. I can say unequivocally that Villaware makes the very best Belgian waffle makers out there. Villaware heats up hot enough to crisp the outside of the waffle while leaving the inside soft and tender. The red and green lights coupled with the beeper make it so easy to make perfect waffles. It is a well made, solid appliance. Two thumbs up and 5 stars to Villaware waffle makers.

works great!
I was having a hard time keeping a sharp edge on all of my kitchen knives with a 3-stone sharpener which needs a knife to be held at a particular angle all the time. The Chef's Choice Pronto Pro was recommended in Cook's Illustrated, so I checked out ebay and bought this sharpener. It is very easy to use and does a great job. I love that it is small and stores easily in one of my kitchen drawers (I tend to use things if they are easily accessible). I cannot speak to longevity because I haven't had it very long. But I do give it 5 stars at this point in time.
