Maybe ok for one pill??
The crusher part and base are beveled (to a point in the center) so if you try to crush more than one pill the one that falls in the center stays whole. You have to open and close it multiple times, move the pills around and recrush. Even that doesn’t work well for multiple (different size) pills. I was afraid I’d break it so just crushed the pills with a spoon. (Mom takes 4 pills).

This Thing Actually Works!
I was a bit skeptical but if you follow the directions it really works. You can change the nozzles for height of spray. The only issue is, if there is wind it can blow the sprinkled water out of the bath. It actually squirts up about 2 feet. It need to be in direct sunlight. My birds just love it!

Great guide!
I was asked to purchase one of these to take to a friend in Costa Rica who owns a B&B. I liked it so much I got a second one for myself. Very good representation of the wildlife of Costa Rica. The only draw back, if there is one, is that the book is physically very heavy. A good coffee table or library book, but not so good if you prefer to travel light.
