Nice book but the colour is way off
Overall this book is OK. I'm a big Alien fan and have watched the movie countless times. It's a fantastic script and the casting and direction are brilliant. As are all the other technicals, like editing, music and design of course. The whole tone was set by that genius H R Giger and was dark, almost monochrome. And that's my main gripe with the book. Really nicely written and the illustrations are well conceived and drawn but why the dynamic and bright colours ? If it's to emulate Marvel comics that's wrong in my opinion as the over riding impact of the film is dark and muted not shouty bright colours. And that's a real shame...and spoils an otherwise great graphic novel.

Great phones, ahead of their time and now great value
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this as a second phone only using the wifi for communication and tethered to my main phone, a Huawei 20 Mate Pro, which I absolutely adore. I use the Remote Desktop app much of the time with my home computer having two wide screen monitors. I therefore wanted as much screen real estate as possible when accessing my home PC. And it really has made a huge difference. Moving around two 27" monitors on a phone isn't that easy but with the Axon it's much more of a pleasure. . It's also great that you can choose whether to use the dual screens as one big screen, two independent screens or two mirrored ones allowing two people to watch the same stuff. I use the dual mode quite a lot, having one site open on one screen whilst searching on Google on the other. The downsides are that the phones are quite chunky but not annoyingly so and that they can't be updated to the latest OS. Also the screens are not that easy to separate without pressing one of the buttons along the edge. They could do with a little button like the Huawei Mate X, which I'm waiting to release in the UK. OK, the split down the middle isn't perfect but it's not as annoying as you'd imagine and overall these phones are now ridiculous value and great in their own right. Why they didn't catch on in the first place I'll never know as they were way ahead of their time.

Great blow torch for soldering jewellery
I was surprised at how good this little blow torch was at helping me solder fine jewellery. It's quite cheap but works really well. It's easy to refill, works every time and responds well to your changes of gas supply. Brilliant value for money.
