Excellent!
A Mel Brooks collection! Prepare to laugh. Bought it for a friend who is a Mel Brooks fan. He loves it.

Great portable gaming system for the kids and for Sega Genesis enthusiasts!
I have to say I was hesitant to purchase one of these generic Genesis handhelds after reading so many awful reviews - but honestly - I think it's a great portable game system!
I went with this Gopher model instead of one of the similar handhelds from AT-Games because it had more of the games I wanted.
I'm a Sega fan and a retro-gamer myself. While I totally agree that some of the music on a few of the games is really, really off and just bad, I still think any fan of the Sega Genesis will enjoy the ability to play their favorite games on this compact portable handheld. I have played it nearly every day since I got it and am absolutely satisfied with my purchase!
The controls are good. The directional pad is a bit sensitive at first but you can pull off some pretty cool fighting moves in Streets of Rage 2 once you get used to it. It's pretty comfortable and the buttons are responsive.
So far it has proved to have good battery life. You can charge it on your computer with the USB cable included.
The game selection is good as well. The version I purchased had 100 games on it and even included Contra Hard Corps! The SD card allows for expansion of your gaming library by downloading Roms from the internet. This is relatively easy to do. You can find instructions with a quick Google search.
A couple of notes: The unit I received has Firecord emulation. That's Firecord with a "d" - not Firecore. Despite this weird variation - the games play fine. Keep in mind - any emulated version of a Sega game is not going to be as good as genuine Sega. If you want the real deal you can buy a used Sega Genesis and some games on ebay. (Which I highly recommend!!!)
But if you are a Sega fan and want a portable Sega experience but don't have the money to drop on a vintage Sega Nomad - I would highly recommend you purchase one of these babies!
You can even plug the unit into your TV to play the games on a larger screen which is a great feature when you are on the road. Be warned the included AV cable is so short you literally have to stand up in front of your TV - but this can be solved by purchasing a longer AV cable. (They sell longer ones for camcorders on ebay.)
So if you are looking for something to keep your kids busy (and happy) or if you are a Sega Genesis fan - this is an excellent little portable gaming system.

Works great for PS2. Good for hooking up the guitar controllers and in case you run out of batteries for your wireless controllers and have to use the corded ones.
