Tried may humidity gages
1 of 1 found this helpful I find that most of cheap ones are not always accurate although they do register up and downward. But the AcuRite has been in use for 3 years and continues to work well and agree with my very expensive humidity gauge that runs my home humidity system here in the desert. I have bought 2 more for use in various rooms and near the pianos. All are very close in the readouts although some variation is expected in different locations. It was inexpensive and well worth the money.

A challenge for the wireless router
1 of 2 found this helpful I'm not the best at routers, but I was never able to have the router recognize the D-link security camera. It was easy to connect the camera and get a live picture on the monitor. But beyond that I gave up. It is supposed to be very easy to set up. Because of that expectation i figured that I was never going to get it so that I could see the cameras view on my phone or tablet. Maybe if I had a lot of time to devote to it...

Samsung T729 Blast phone
This works as a phone, but the other features such as music storage, taking and altering a photo are not worth the bother. Battery life is short already without using the features. And the keybaord for typing is absolutely non intuitive and a bother to become acquainted with. The extra buttons have no labels to speak of, and the icons on the screen are far too complex for the tiny screen. Rather than art-photos they should have used line drawings of items.
In the unit I use the sound with loudspeaker used is simply too soft hardly noticeable above the normal sound. The unit does ok as a phone. A later model has simplified the design and is much easier to navigate its features.
