Does the job
Good: portable, expandable, adjustable, adds versatility specifically in small spaces or when transportation of a larger drum is not desirable.
Bad: needs a system of holding a drum in place as it shifts forward with prolonged use.
Bottom line: usable for drums from 16" to 18" (or 20" if you lazy enough to adjust the standard height of a beater).

worth the money
Minus 2 stars: uneven, difficult to turn ring , thicker than competitors.
Overall cost = quality, but not more.

BDP-103 first impression
Minuses: overpriced (and thus 4 stars), bulky and ugly remote; relatively old.
Pluses: outstanding picture quality and sound, does not care about country code, deals well with various video files, communicates well with AV receiver (Marantz). Regular firmware updates.
Resume: will recommend to a friend with a warning that if there is a decent sub attached to the receiver, watching movies with lots of special effects (explosions, etc.) might destroy the house.
