No Lightweights here...
At nearly 400g these are not lightweight. Also the earcups are not huge so they always feel a little precarious on my head. However they do fit snugly. The sound is amazing. The treble is crystal clear, the detail in the music I listen to is better than my expensive Sennheiser HD540 s. So when I get a new CD I use these; but as they are not the most comfortable I revert to my (open) Sennheisers for continued listening. The DJs are closed (back) design, not open so the bass is much stronger. I have had them for four years and the soft black inner surface of the headband has crumbled and disintegrated. However I just rubbed it off and the under material is black so they have a new lease of life. They are brilliant for detailed listening. I gather the rotating driver is DJ style hence the name but the metal against your ear is not good.

Better than expected - Very Good
I wanted a version with more tradtional costume but I had read a good review of this DVD. I enen dislike the look of the cover but the price was pretty good. Anyway I am pleased with it. After all Rigoletto was set around 1850 so one cannot expect Shakespearian costume. The filming is pretty good. Zooms in just enough. Some operas always show the whole set so the characters are too small, others zoom in too much so you lose the stage perspective. This gets the balance just about right. Indeed it is the best of the four DVD operas I own. The subtitles are clever they are not all centred but move to the performer, pretty handy for the numerous duets (recititive) in this opera. I gave this Excellent rather than Good as it is just so good to watch. I still do not like the cover but now I accept it as a true representation as Rigoletto himself has historically been portrayed as Jester/Clown. Oops a minor downer worth mentioning. There is no written libretto ( I bought one on ebay) and you cannot display English and Italian together. I plan to get more familiar with the English before watching the Italian screen text.
