Transend CF excellence
Transcend CF card is just what I wanted for my Canon DSLR. The memory is able to load the photo data quickly for rapid shooting in Sports mode, and the quality and reliability are awesome.

Older style, great sound
Found one of the Bose model 100 speakers at a local re-seller, thought I would check it out. These were built by Bose for the home theater market, as a set of three, with one center, one each right and left. They have single speakers, but with the bass reflex enclosure, the sound is very good. I tested the speaker first with my micro-stereo, and then when I tried it with my Kustom powered mixer, and the audio was just what I was looking for for vocals (works great for standard guitars too). I then went on-line and purchased 3 more. Set up the 4 speakers in a small church for special music, 2 speakers on the left and 2 on the right, and the vocals were amazing, full, clear and rich. The singers and listeners were very impressed. These are keepers.

Great value for the money.
This lens is a Tamron design originally built for AF film cameras, and it works very well on my digital Nikon D50 with its screw drive focus. The APS-C sensor will give an effective focal length of about 150-450mm. It has a metal mount and fits snugly on my camera. I was very impressed by the color, accuracy of focus and resulting picture sharpness that matched my heavier and more expensive Nikkor zoom lens in a side-by-side test. The lens is small and lightweight and would be a great choice for general use and for travel.
