Fried my pc ssd
Im a PC enthusiast who well maintains and takes very good care of my 3 PCs along with my brothers and dads laptops. I was given a case which a 3.0 USB port on the front but my motherboard i wanted to use didnt have the 3.0 plug on the mobo so i bought this adapter. Arrived late but got it. Was using the PC i shut it down. Go outside for 20minutes come back and decided its been enough time since its been unplugged and turned off so i hooked it up and boom my PC turned on wouldnt go pass windows screen without seeing an error or a fail attempt to repair it on the spot. So it fried my 128gb SSD and im pissed.
Also to note the 3.0 port worked but it sacrificed my ssd and even when its taken out it was too late. All my files and a 80$ ssd for a 1.50$ adapter

Very good connection driver cd worked great always follow instructions
Good speeds showed up fast they answered my question about the driver cd assured me it will be with the adapter and yes it was the installation was a breeze and will be buying 2 more 1 more me and my brother this was for my fathers pc and its a slightly older motherboard but it worked flawessly for win 7 im sure it works just as good on the other os
